ANNOUNCEMENT – World Diabetes Day

Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica and the Association of Primary Health Care Centres, under the patronage of Montenegrin Ministry of Health and National diabetes board, on the occasion of 14th November, World diabetes day, will organise a wide range of activities.

On Saturday, 12th November, between 11a.m. and 13 p.m. there will be a walk of representatives from national, local, political, health and social organisations, while on the plateau under the hill of Gorica, educational material, water and fresh apples will be shared. In addition, medical teams of the Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica will do general health analysis and test blood sugar for all interested citizens.

On Saturday 12th November and Sunday 13th November, from desks in the shopping malls Delta City and Mall of Montenegro (Gintas), from 12 noon to 2 p.m., medical teams will inform citizens, check their general health, test blood sugar and blood pressure as well as share educational material.

In the Counseling for diabetes section , in the health facility ‘’Nova Varos’’ within the Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica, during every working day,  professional medical teams inform citizens on the prevention and treatment of diabetes as well as providing advice on how to live better.

On the occasion of World diabetes day, on Saturday, 12th November and Sunday, 13th November, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., cultural - historic buildings, social and public institutions will be symbolically lit up in blue by reflector lighting.
