World Aids Day

On the occasion of 1st December, World Aids Day, Counselling Service for Youth within the Student Centre of the Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica provided voluntary, confidential night counselling and HIV testing.

The great majority of citizens, especially young people, were interested in testing organised by the Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica, which has performed these kinds of activity for many years now.

This year, for the first time in the Counselling for Youth, HIV testing was carried out with the new test and the results were done in half an hour. This method represents an important step forward in efficient and early detection of HIV infection. o

Professional teams of the Primary Health Care Centre Podgorica provided answers to various citizens’ question about HIV infection.
